The Cole Clarifier (US Patent No 7,313,962, 7,404,322) is an FAA approved, coated lens designed to bond over the barometric pressure window (commonly referred to as the Kollsman Window) of TSO’d altimeters.

The bonding process is FAA approved and must be performed by our technicians.

You may purchase a new modified altimeter from us.

You may send us your altimeter for modification when removed for biannual inspection after being re-certified by your local instrument shop.

You may also send us your altimeter re-certification and modification. (This is not recommended. Please see discussion in FYI.)

You may purchase a new or rebuilt TSO’d altimeter from another vendor and send it to us for modification.

If you live near KBMI (Central Illinois Regional Airport, Bloomington, Illinois, USA), you can fly to our shop and we can install one on your altimeter without removal from the panel.

All installation is accompanied by the requisite FAA documentation.
